Participants will:
- Gain knowledge about the applicability of a variety of Experiential Learning Cycles (ELC)
Create-Learning provides an introduction to the various uses and pitfalls of ELC. Participants gain an understanding of how several ELCs can be implemented and utilized in a facilitated experience. - Learn and experience over 25 experiential activities that are proven to be effective and useful
Each activity is explored; participants develop variations and add their own personal style to using these experiential activities in any environment with any audience. Additionally, participants learn about the proper sequencing of experience and team learning to optimize the message and content being delivered. - Learn how to facilitate diverse populations
Participants master skills to present and engage heterogeneous as well as homogeneous populations within an organization. They gain knowledge of how to engage introverted and extraverted participants, disrupters, the unengaged, negative and/or overly participative participants. Many tools are introduced that can be used to gain the greatest learning from each training and interaction. - Gain insight and skill in the processes of learning and functional tie-backs of experiential learning to the workplace, community and home life
Participants learn how to use experiential learning to create “experiments” and guide participants to find metaphors and concrete ways to transfer the experiential and team learning to their lives, and thus enhance the participants’ effectiveness, productiveness, self-esteem, self-worth, and organizational value. - Implement data collection and assessment of training programs
We identify ways to link learning objectives to company and department performance metrics. Participants learn how to create metrics and rubrics to measure success and areas for improvement within teams so that the organization will be able to quantify the effect of the training. These measurements are both short and long term - providing immediate measurement for short term needs while keeping track of longer term results. Participants focus on the development of outcome-based training, and create return on investment (ROI) calculations that are internally and customer focused.
"Michael helped me to find new training exercises when my creativity went blank. Even though we were thousands of kilometers far from each other, he took pictures, sent me detailed explanations and was really "here". I tested his exercise and it was fantastic for the purpose I had at that time. Michael definitely understood the issue I was facing. All this shows me the big heart Michael has, and how he is dedicated to people fulfillment."
